Aria for Denticon. The AI front office that scales with your DSO.

Built for Denticon's multi-location, cloud-first DSO model. One AI receptionist across every office. Voice + chat live today; deep PMS sync rolling through 2026.

Denticon, by Planet DDS, is the cloud PMS most large dental groups land on when they outgrow on-prem Dentrix or Eaglesoft. It was built for multi-location from day one, which is exactly the operational shape Aria was built to support: one phone tree, one inbound chat queue, many offices, one consistent patient experience. The two systems are a natural fit. Where Aria for Open Dental is the deepest single-practice integration we ship, Aria for Denticon is the integration we built for groups — multi-location routing, location-aware booking, and DSO-scale reporting layered on top.

How Aria works with Denticon

Denticon integration is in active development against Planet DDS's cloud API. Voice and chat capabilities are live today and work independently of PMS depth. Read sync (patient lookup, schedule visibility) targets Q3 2026; two-way booking and write-back targets Q4 2026.

🏢

Multi-location aware from day one

Denticon's core unit is the office — yours might be 3, 30, or 300 of them. Aria routes inbound calls to the right office based on caller history, DID, or voice prompt, and books patients into the location that's actually convenient for them.

☁️

Cloud-native, no shim

Aria authenticates to the Denticon API in the cloud. There is no on-prem agent, no Sikka middleware, no Windows service running on a server in any office. The integration is as available as Denticon itself.

👥

Cross-location patient lookup

Patients in DSOs often visit multiple offices. Aria looks up the caller across your entire Denticon tenant — not just the office they happened to dial — and surfaces the most recent visit, primary provider, and active insurance regardless of which office created the chart.

🛡️

Insurance verification

Stedi 270/271 eligibility runs in under 60 seconds and is delivered to the inbound caller live. Q4 2026 brings native write-back to the patient's Denticon insurance record.

📊

Group-level reporting

Per-office and roll-up reporting on call volume, booking conversion, and after-hours capture. Built for the DSO operations team, not just the front desk.

🔐

Scoped, revocable access

Aria uses scoped API credentials issued from your Denticon admin. Revocable any time. No shared passwords, no front-desk service accounts.

Setup time: 3 to 10 business days, depending on group size

3 to 10 business days, depending on group size. Voice and chat live within 48 hours regardless. Multi-location routing scales linearly — adding a 5th or 50th office is the same configuration step.

What you do

Provide Denticon API credentials (issued by your Planet DDS admin) and a list of office IDs you want Aria to cover. We can support staged rollouts — pilot one location, then expand.

What we do

Validate API connectivity, configure per-office routing rules, map Denticon procedure codes to Aria's appointment types, and run our DSO test suite (cross-location lookup, location-correct booking, group-level reporting).

What's in the works

We'd rather be honest about what's coming than overstate what's shipped today. Here's the Denticon roadmap:

  • → Read-only sync — patients, schedule, insurance (Q3 2026)
  • → Two-way appointment write-back (Q4 2026)
  • → Cross-location patient deduplication assist (Q4 2026)
  • → Insurance write-back to Denticon insurance plan (Q1 2027)
  • → Recall / continuing care list sync (Q1 2027)
  • → Group-level dashboard for DSO operators (Q1 2027)

Why DSOs on Denticon choose Aria

A DSO running 10+ offices on Denticon has a math problem: at 5–10% missed-call rate per office per day, that's hundreds of dropped opportunities per week across the group. Aria closes that gap without requiring you to add front-desk headcount in every office. One AI receptionist. Every office. Every call answered. Routed to the right location. Booked into the right operatory. The savings curve gets steeper the bigger you are.

Frequently asked questions

We're a 25-office DSO on Denticon. Can Aria run for all of us at once?
Yes — but most large groups prefer a phased rollout. We typically start with 2–3 pilot offices for the first 30 days, validate the routing rules and call patterns, then onboard the rest in waves. The infrastructure is the same regardless of group size; the rollout cadence is what changes.
Can Aria handle our existing Denticon-native call routing rules?
Aria's routing layer sits in front of any per-office call flows you already have. We can match your existing escalation patterns (transfer to billing, transfer to office manager, route emergencies to on-call) on a per-office or group-wide basis.
Does Aria conflict with Planet DDS's Patient Engagement tools?
No. If you already use Planet DDS's reminder or two-way text engine, Aria's reminders can be turned off so you don't double-message patients. Voice and inbound chat work the same regardless.
What does Aria cost at DSO scale?
Pricing scales with locations and call volume, not per-seat. Talk to us about your office count and rough monthly call volume and we'll quote a group rate. Most multi-location DSOs see lower per-office Aria spend than single-location practices because the platform overhead is shared.
Is Aria HIPAA-compliant for DSO use?
Yes. We sign a BAA with the operating entity (DSO or MSO) and apply per-location data scoping. PHI is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and in transit with TLS. See /security for the full posture.

What we expect Denticon DSOs on Aria to see.

Until our Denticon write-back ships, we won't quote Denticon-specific outcome numbers — that would be making them up. What we will say: every Aria practice (regardless of PMS) goes from a typical 60–70% live-call answer rate to 100%, and insurance verification turnaround drops from days (or never) to under 60 seconds. At DSO scale, those gains compound — a 25-office group typically sees triple-digit additional bookings per month from after-hours capture alone.

How Aria for Denticon differs from generic DSO call centers.

DSOs running on Denticon usually compare Aria to two alternatives: a centralized human call center, or a per-office Weave-style answering setup. The call center solves volume but doesn't talk to your PMS. The per-office setup talks to your PMS but doesn't scale. Aria is the third option: one AI receptionist, every office, every call, written back to Denticon. We'd rather build the right thing than the easier thing.
